99% have already been converted to V8 cars. Once in a blue moon a old unmolested 6 cylinder car will show up. What is your goal? Any 69 camaro that does not need a bunch of metal work is going to be pricey. One that has its original metal more so.
Well............have you tried winning the lottery? Any first gen that's even save-able is gold plated these days so good luck.
Why a six? There were plenty of plain janes out there with V-8s.
I got one back in the 1970's that was plain as can be with a small block in it,no power steering or anything else, drum brakes etc.
I tossed in a Vette 427 with a super T-10 4 speed and whammy scary fast car, especially given all it's short comings like being able to stop and go around corners. lol
Had a lot of fun with it as a youngster and somehow didn't get killed in it.
The first car I ever owned was a 68 Camaro with a straight 6 and a three on the tree in 1979 and,, dont even ask what I did to that poor gorgeous little car.... But yeah, like the other guys said, not much chance of finding one like that, unless you have very deep pockets.. what is your budget?
