Default unknown subframe year

When I bought my place there was a subframe behind the shop. It has disk brakes and a manual steering box on it. Is there a way to date it? I'm assuming its from a Camaro but might be Nova. Any help is appreciated.

No way to tell. You are right 67-69 Camaro or 68-72 Nova.

I believe that is a second gen sub frame. If I am looking at in right the steering box is in the front.

@Gorn

Okay, i hope so. i’ve also noticed that when you fit my steering box it has 4 holes to bolt in but only 3 of them bolt in. The 4th hole/bolt doesn’t line up. Does this make a difference or is there a reason why its like this?

Maybe its the wrong steering box? I have never seen one with 3 bolt and I would consider it a safety thing. If you run wider tires on the front this will put more that stock forces and missing a bolt could lead to the ox tearing out of the frame.
