The LEDs are from the internet or Auto Zone, just standard bulb replacement LEDs that plug into the stock harness. What I can't figure out is why it worked in the shop, but not on the road.

I apologize for the delay. I found something but I don't know if it matches your setup.

This is a load resistor and may be what you need. I tried to find specifics like current draw and voltage drop but it may be in the paperwork that came with the units.

Are you still having issues on the road but not in your garage?

when i put led's on the truck they flashed really fast, a buddy at advanced told me what flasher to get to slow them down. not legal to have blinkers that flash to fast.
