Default trim tag 1967

I found two 67 camaro in a farmers barn but having trouble finding out what they are.
I dont know if they are ss 350 or 327 4 speed cars.
There seems to be some confussion with the 3L 4p tag codes in early 67

What you have is a very nice "barn find".
3L code: the "3" is a tag identifier number and not part of the code, it's just there. The "L" is RPO z22, Rally Sport package.
4P code: again, the "4" is an identifier. The "P" is the SS350 code, on early LOS cars, and NOR cars beginning in October production.
I wish I could find barns like that here.

I as well just recently purchased a 1967 Camaro with the 3L 4P ,Have been workin on the car and trying to decide what I want for the power train ,I have a muncie 4 speed,I would like to run in it,but have been skeptical as to what engine this thang came with, either the 350 or 327,and how i could find a # matcher. The cowl tag #s are.....
Q7a A355
ST67 12437 Los 38965 Body
TR760Z EE
E2LG 3L
4P
Could some one elaborate more on these numbers, as the engine seems a little gray with these codes from what I have researched. ..Thank You

I have a cool program where you plug in the tag info and...

One interesting note: the "4P" code came up as an either-or option, whereas the info from the site below doesn't mention the 327 option. I'd dig more to break the tie.
Also, what you thought is a "Q", is actually an "O".

CRG Research Report - The L30/M20 Camaro
try this site if you think it was a 327 instead of a 350.
