RE: tires?????
Not sure about the 33" tire. But have a question for you first off let me say nice camaro!! Let me ask you what size rim and tire combination did you go with front and rear, and it would be great if you could remember what backspacing you went with. Also are you running monleaf, 4-leaf, or 5-leaf suspension. Thanks

RE: tires?????
my car currently is mono leaf but i'm sure i'll end up changing this also since i've been told the car won't hook up that great , thanks for the compliment on my car but if you got up close to it you wouldn't be saying that , looks good from 20 ft,i bought this car to go Bracket racing so that's where i've been puting all my money in the engine and drivetrain, getting my car back from rear end shop today installing 4:56 gears

A 33" won't even come close to fitting. Most 1st Gens like a 29 or 29.5. Stock Eliminator racers can often get a 30x9 under the car, but they are spending more time making sure everything is just right.
I could get a 30x9 with a 10" wheel under my last 68, but I had the back end of the car professionally done. 1/4" clearance on either side. Turning onto the return road there was always a slight rub too.
Besides,no manufacturer makes a "narrow" 33 inch tire and you'd have to put too much gear into just to keep it fom coming out of the hole like a slug. there's a lot more to bracket racing than just using a big tire.

We were on Main and 11th both Fri and Sat. I had my red Nova with black cowl hood. I thought you had a 69 so I was looking for a 69 not a 67. Sorry I missed you. It would have been nice to meet up with you. I didn't like that they stopped the cruise at 5pm on Sat.
On May 31st the Nova site I'm on is hosting the John Force Cruise Night. I will be there with my Nova and hopefully my Firebird will be back together by then. You should come by. Also on June 7th there is a cruise in Ontario on Euclid. Its a very nice show also. If you like I can post links to them for more info
