I'm new to this forum think as of today. I have a 68' that I restoring and the back panel where the speakers are has been destroyed. Looks like metal was cut and bent inward to fit larger speakers. Need help in finding a solution to a repair. I could not find the sheet metal for replacement on line. Any help would be great. I also need help in repairing the floor at the shifter. It was cut up to retrofit a new shift, but I fix the shifter, now I need to repair the floor.
It does... did not know the name of that panel area, so had a hard time searching it. I gave up a while back and was going to come back later, so have one more item checked off for problems to salve. Awesome, Thanks
Yah... that previous owner was me back in the early 90's as a teenager being stupid. Did the same to the floor panel at the same time. Have regretted it ever since.
There are shifter floor hemps available for with and without a console .And a package tray metal panel from such places such as Camaro Central. There are complete body shells available for these cars So all the sheet metal is available
