Hi guys. Just bought a 69 Camaro SS 350. It has the SS hood with the the chrome hood louvers on top (no cowl induction). I am looking at upgrading the intake manifold to an Edelbrock RPM Air Gap Performer with either holley or edelbrock carbs. Anybody run intohood clearance issues with this manifold? Can you recommend an air cleaner or will the stock snorkel-type one work ok? Thanks!

 

Hi guys. I tried the manifold it it fits fine with an aftermarket air cleaner.

Which size air cleaner did you go with?

 

Holley air cleaner. It came free with the new Holley carburetor from Summit! Looks great and just does fit under the hood.
