Shaker placement

The longest leg is closer to 3" long from the bottom (Underside) of the canister to the where it mounts.

I have a set of '68 shakers out of the car and the length of the longest leg is 3in.from the bottom of the canister.

Thanks for all the info! It appears that I have been sent a pair of Corvair shakers (as per Ricks). They are going back to them. I will have to keep my eyes open for another set. Thanks again everyone for the help.
