Default Shaker Scoop

Has anyone put a shaker scoop on there Z-28? I have a 350 and want to put one on, I was thinking about putting it on there and I don't really know how to go about it. I was hoping to get a new hood like a fiberglass one or something. I need some more clearance for this intake I am putting on and I hate the cowl hood so I was hoping that the shaker scoop would give me that. If anyone has any idea pleas let me know.

I guess it would work. Just find a place (NDP, ecklars) that sells parts for the firebird of the same year and it should bolt right on, I would think. If what I am imagining in my head is reality that is....
