Default Sending unit feed thru hole

I replaced the trunk pan in my 69 now im wiring the rear body kit and the wiring directions say "Route the wire to the stock feed thru hole under fuel tank filler and install rubber grommet." Problem is I have no feed thru hole of course because of the new pan. Can anyone tell me or show me where this should be?

Will it be the same as '68? If so I can get you a picture.

I know that the filler neck is routed differently between 68 and 69. I don't think it's going to be in the same area.

I have a 68 as well.

Boy, a little impatient are we. You should probably start a different thread for how to add oil to your engine too.
Here's a picture of my wire location, that I bothered to take time out of my busy schedule to take a picture of on my phone, then email to myself, post it in photobucket, and post in here just for you.
Is this the one you're looking for? Let me know if you need measurements too, I think I can scrounge up a tape measure too.

Looks like I should have drilled the hole before I reinstalled the trunk latch support brace. What is a tape measure?

If you have a loooong drill bit, you can drill it at the correct angle from up top (above the brace), or with a normal bit get at it more from the side at an angle. You could also drill from below, but it would have to be in a slightly different spot to get a clear shot at it.
