Default Replacing Ignition cylinder and switch without key

When I bought my 68 they guy I bought it from could not find the keys because it had not run in several years. He was supposed to dig them up for me but still has not found them. I got tired of waiting and just bought a whole new lockset and ignition switch because I was at the point where the car was ready to be fired up. I know the procedure to get the lock cylinder out you need to have the original key. I was just wondering if anyone had a way to get this old stuff out without the key.
Thanks

Probably would be easier to replace the housing too. For an extra $30 or so, you'll have everything new.

Yes I did get that as well. But with the old lock cylinder still in the original houseing the "nut" that screws on to hold it in place wont come off. I guess I can just cut it off with my dremmel tool.
