Default Replacing A arm bushings

A friend of mine said to use an air chisel with a dull point against the upper A arm in a circular motion and the bushing housing will back itself out. Any other methods out there ?
Thanks Greg

I rented a device from a local parts store that did the job in a few minutes. I was required to put a down payment for using the device, but got it all back when I returned it.

No, but I either went to an O'Reilly Auto Parts or Advanced Auto Parts store and just ask for a device that will remove bushings from the A arm. I'm sure they'll know what you are talking about.
