Default Radiator - Stock or Aluminum, & where to buy from ?

I have a 69 ,396 ,4spd ,with a slightly radical cam , not sure what temp stat , but it runs around 180-190 , the radiator looks a little rusty on the lower 1/4 of the tank & fins , any suggestions what type of radiator to use ?

If you want to go aluminum, this is the one to get.

https://www.dewitts.com/collections/...g-block-camaro.

190 isnt bad if its hot outside. A good clean out might save the cost of a new radiator..

Another less costly upgrade is a high capacity core for your copper/brass radiator. Originals has 12 fins per inch and tubes spaced 9/16" apart. High capacity has 14 fins per inch and tube spaced 3/8" apart. Its what I have on my 66 vette. A good radiator shop should be able to find one for you.

Dewitts makes a good all aluminum radiator, I have a Griffin in my 68, 16 years, cools great and never an issue. Check out Jeg's and Summit pricing.
