Radiator Questions
Hey guys, It's been a while since I've last posted, but the project is up and running.
we've got the bottom end of the 350 block assembled and we're waiting to buy the top end in case we end up with a car this week (looking down in NV and AZ).
I was putting together a spread sheet of all the goodies and the price of each that we're putting into this engine and all of its components. I was looking at some radiators and I was curious as to what the stock dimensions are? Griffin makes a stock aluminum replacement, but that's $500 + and if i can make some brackets and buy a universal summit radiator, why not?
besides the dimensions, I'm open to you guy's oppressions on what you have for a radiator or what does/doesn't work.
We're building this engine so that in the end, It will be somewhere in the 500 HP range. It will have a manual, so no trans cooler. The whole things going to be carbed and will have aluminum heads and an air gap intake on it.
thanks!
