I took mine to an automotive machine shop to have them pressed out and the new ones pressed in.Actually I took the project to Columbus Spring located in Columbus Ga. They specialize in suspension repair. These suspension shops are usually jiggedto prevent bending the components.I remember grinding the rivets off to remove the balljoints and using nuts and bolts to install the new ones. I think it would be worth your time to have a suspension shop assis with this project.

Hammer the **** out of it.....lol. We found a tool that somewhat helped us remove the old ones, but it was a real.....well pain to get the new ones in.
