Default Power Steering Conversion Kit Question...

Hi,
I want to get my husband a power steering conversion kit for Christmas, but
I'm not sure what to buy because it's for his 1967 Camaro that has a 1988
engine.
Is the bolt pattern on the two years the same?
Will a kit for a 1967 Camaro work on his car?

I appreciate any and all responses.

Thanks,
Kristi
PS That's my husband's site in the signature. Check it out.

Default RE: Power Steering Conversion Kit Question...

if both engines are "small-blocks" than you will have no problem.

I might be stating the complete obvious becauseI don't know how much you know about cars, but don't forget that you need to buy him a power steering box also. if he has manual steering right now, then the box needs to be changed also
