Power Steering conversion cost?
What would you guys estimate the cost of putting power steering in one of these cars? AND...... how difficult is it? AND
........Do you prefer the feel of non-power steering handling?

the only way non-power is a better feel for handling, is in a rack and we wont talk about those costs. you can usually pick up a real sweet box for around four beans.
if you have a small block, this is a real easy conversion. only a few bolts and it off the frame. get yourself a new pitman arm, new ragjoint, pump and pully, some brackets, a high and low pressure line and have at it!
I need a new box in my big-block car but I don't feel like pulling the engine anytime soon to get it out, so it's staying for now.

Oh, and thanks very much for the info!
rack & pinion. it is the best way to go, in my opinion (but you know what people say about those). they are just very expensive and you always have to be very careful about bumpsteer, if you are using stock parts on a suspension that you dropped. can lead to bad things[X(]
