plain-o 67 ?
New on this block
How yall doing? Here's my question: I'm considering buying my first camaro,1967 w/ 327 eng/400 turbo. Don't know the HP yet. It's not a RS; SS; or Z28 so what do you call it?
... If I buy it I'm thinking of puttin in a big block. If I put in 396 am I allowed to pu SS emblems on it or is that against the rules
...I havent's seen it yet but I have a friend that lives in the same town, He went and ck it out for rust etc, drove it and said it is in excellant condition..
So whatz the difference in this camaro with a 327 and no emblems and BB's with emblems
Thanks

Moved this from the Ask GM section.
If your engine is a 327, and original to the car (matching numbers) then you have a plain ol 67.
Check out the trim tag, and numbers on the engine to see what you have, links below.
45 years is a lot of time to give a previous owner the opportunity to change engines, as well as the trans that's already been swapped.
