Default Oil pan leak.

I have a oil pan leak and need to replace the gasket. I was told that you have to jack up one side of the motor to do this. Is this true. (1968 camaro rs 327 t350 trans.)

you have to jack up the entire engine, not just one side. I would take this as a chance to pull it right out and freshen up and at least clean and re-paint everything. I pull mine out every once in a while just to do stuff like that. it might even safe you time and aggravation in the long run if you,ve never tried to do a pan before

just a thought
