No garage but I do have a car port that I am claiming as mine when it is finished. But thanks for the tip, I will keep that in mind

Sorry about being so negative about an older car. I do love them. I just keep my driving of my 67 for recreational purpose only.
When fist started my automotive career I had to drive the roll back for the dealership I worked for. I picked up a lot of smashed cars. Now I commute 2-3 hours a day and I have had a lot of close calls. I have been rear ended twice and t-bone at a green light once. It is enough to make appreciate a shoulder strap and an air bag.

my 69 was my daily driver for over 3 years, because my girlfriend didn't have a car while she was in college, so she drove my other car

I took it everywhere I went and it was still nice enough for cruise-ins and small shows

I cant wait to cruise to work everyday in mine. I drive thru all the ritzy neighborhoods with all the fancy McMansions. I really enjoyed my 67 way back when I was a hell raiser. Well in the last 6 yrs that I have been driving to work and around Orlando I have only had one accident which just happened last summer. Some idiot was in the center lane and made a right turn crossing my lane and I hit the brakes hopeing to miss him but I clipped his rear corner. Other than that I just dont have any close calls.

its all good information i have a 67 with hugger orange w/white rally stripes... its my daily driver yes it gets miles and has a little more wear and tear but i mod it just like any other car to have as good or better qualitys. yes it does take a while and some money but hey why not spend 10 -15 grand on a ok car and make it personalized and nice rather then buying a new car thats just plain jane. but hey i don't care if my car is orig or not and i don't really care if people think im crazy but cars are all about you loving them no matter what size shape or form make them yours... and yes i think you can make your car a daily driver and still take it to car shows....i do!
