Need help selecting a column adapter for steering wheel
Hello all,
new area for me. I’ve never replaced a steering wheel before and it doesn’t look extremely difficult.
I had this Grant wheel gifted to me so what you see is all I have. The column is non-tilt stock on a 69.
Would someone be kind enough to tell me what all I need to complete this install?
i went to Grants website and put in my car info and it gave me a adapter but not sure if that adapter it recommends fits this particular wheel.
thanks in advance

I believe all Grant wheels are a common bolt pattern and you just buy the specific "adapter" (spline count/size) they list for your car. There likely are instructions that come with the adapter. My Grant wheel was already installed but I have had it off before to fix the horn function. I needed the spring that drops into the green wire hole for horn which was missing. A spring from a ball point pen works perfectly

thanks for the pearl about the spring. If that come up during the process I’ll have a immediate fix. Thank you!
IDK what model # it is for my Camaro as it was already on the car but the 3rd pic showing that ribbed black color which is about 2" or 3" tall is needed so if you don't have that with your steering wheel, IDK if it comes in the "adapter" kit, but you need it
If you are referencing this part pictured, I looked that up as well on Grants website and it stated that was optional. It said that part was mainly to relocate the steering wheel as close to the stock position as possible.
if that’s the case, I don’t want it. I’m 6’6” and having the steering wheel further away would be a blessing. Lol
i guess we’ll see. Good thing about Summit, they are fast shippers.
