need advice on muffler to use for 67 RS

I have 67 RS with stock 327 and factory duals, I want to keep the exhaust intact and just change out the mufflers with something that sounds bad, like glasspacks or something,
Please advise, I can go cheap or spend a little for the correct sound

I had a set of these on my '67... they sounded BAD! If you just idle it or cruise, it's quiet. But, once you get on the throttle, they ROAR!!!

I'm definitely putting them on my '69 when I'm done.
