Default MSD Ignition

I hear that MSD ignition systems make a big difference and a lot of people have highly recommended it. I am going to go through with it, just wondering who has done it, what they think, and is the MSD 6AL the right one? Anything else I should know? thanks!

Well I have a 350 (non-original) engine, a few buddies with Chevy 350's have highly recommended the 6AL MSDs.

Also, instead of starting a new thread, how could I squeeze some more HP out of my car without changing the whole engine to a big block? Its got the 4bbl edelbrock carb, exhaust, K&N intake, etc.

Here's the message I've been trying to post, but I guess my answer sucks because the forum would not let me do it the "easy" way.
