LS3 E-rod engine

LS3 E-rod engine
I went to Sema this year and at the GM display they had an LS3 E-Rod engine. This engine is for hot rods and are emmision compliant in all 50 states. Has anyone had any experience with this? I am considering putting one in my 69. The price wasn't too bad either at around 8k complete.
