Intake? will it fit under my cowl hood?

With a small block just about any intake that's dual plane will work. You didn't mention the specifics of your engine, so hard to say what will work on it. If it's pretty much stock 350 I'd go with an Edelbrock Performer. If it's built then you can go with something bigger, or something with an open plenum. The dual plane plenum will give you better bottom end and power up to around 5500 though.

FYI -I did install the intake and the hood had pleny of clearance. about an inch to spare

Thought your engine went south on you? Did you install it on the bad engine or did you get a new one in already, or did you get it on and then the engine went bad?

My engine is fine. It's about a year old. It works great. Maybe it was someone else.

Heh, heh, the engine going south was in reference to the original poster. You're confused because you hijacked this thread. You might want to try starting your own thread to get some responses.
