Hi guys

Just got my reveal mouldings from national parts depot.
I just set them up against the door and it fits fine, but the quarter panel piece reaches longer onto the convertible moulding.
Need to know which way is the correct installation method.
1. cut the new molding to fit over the exisiting
2. Cut the existing convertible moulding so i can butt the new moulding against it.

Can someone tell me if they ran into this also and which is the correct or preferded method of installing it.
