Default OEm replacement mouldings?

for an 82 camaro, i really want to shave them, but some OEM mouldings would be nice.

Also (dont slay me please)

has anyone done a roof swap, or any ideas, i kinda want to get rid of my t tops.

im going with a cage anyways, or im wondering can i go less then 10 seconds with t tops.

some tracks are weird about that stuff.

OEM mouldings the best place to look would be the junk yards, Craigslist.org, ****-e-bay or if new is needed and the money burning a hole in your pocket places like nextgenparts.com or classicindustries.com.
As for the roof replacment I have had to do it on wrecks before. None were Camaros. You could fake one on there easy with the skin and a portion of the framing or all the way down from the bottom of the window post. But you may want to see what the track allows. The local spped shop used to sell the regulation hand books. Though the local track did not follow them for the wednesday night high school drags.
Also you will have to find out what is required of a cage. There are rules to follow on them also. Some times they are real strict and want it tested and made of a certain size tube.

If you go with the Jegs cage you will have an easier time installing it with the roof removedso you might as well cut the Ts off and install the hardtop afterwards.

Too bad your so far away you could cut off one of mine [8D]
