Default ignition switch pink and black wire

Mine is a 68 SS/RS 396 with a few factory options like speedo buzzer, key switch buzzer and clock tach.
2 questions -
1st question has to do with the pink/black wire that is in the center of the key switch. What does this wire power up?
2nd question - my alternator has 3 wires - red at the back and blue and white on the top. There is no voltage regulator mounted on the core support so I think someone mounted an internally regulated alternator right? Where do the blue and white wires end up?
Thanks as always!
Scott

if you’re still looking this may help on the alt, if not maybe this helps the next guy.

those two wires on the alt, one is an excite wire that goes to a dash light, at the alt once the alt starts charging it cuts off.

the other wire is a reference 12v in signal.

The pink/black wire in the center of the key switch on your 1968 Camaro powers the accessory circuit (like dashboard lights, electrical accessories, etc.) when the ignition is in the "ACC" position.
