Help w Car Inspection

I am new to the forum. I am about to buy at 1st get camaro in Los Angeles and I would like to find a knowledgeable mechanic to inspects it. Any recommendations?

Unless you get a response on here, spend the money and hire a licensed professional. 1st gens are expensive. Usually well over $20k. What's another $300 or so for an expert appraisal.
