I think this is gonna be a one-sided poll.

I'm gonna go with a '69 SS convertible. In fact, I plan on it. Won't exactly be factory original, though >.>

Default Hey Y2K!

Sorry Mr. Perfection. How about the 250c.i. straight six cylinder engine. Is that better? Good thing we have guys like you around.....

Default When it comes to convertibles.....

Which model convertible would be your favorite I guess? Kinda a general overall poll to see what's liked the most! Thx.

SS. Many more options, but without the troublesome RS headlights. Mine came with power front disc brakes, power steering, gauges, and stripes. Oh, and a 300 HP 350ci engine, Muncie 4 speed, and 12 bolt rear. A straight 6 got you three on the tree or a Powerslide, and a ten bolt. A 327 2 barrel would get you a floor shifter three speed and ten bolt (my original 12 bolt is in my brother's 327 car). RS had the headlights, which looked cool, but became problematic quickly. Remember, there was no Classic Industries back then. The Z/28 was hard to drive, and an insurance nightmare - I was 19 when I bought mine, and my insurance went from $17 to $25, a huge jump, at the same time as my gas mileage went from 32 (VW bug) to 9. A big part of the insurance chage was the SS package. I could not have insured a Z/28.
