Default Heater/Defrost question

Does anyone have pictures or instructions on how to connect the Y shaped defroster duct to non a/c heater box? I’m not sure what I need to make the connection to the box. Is there a bracket, a seal, or both? A prior owner removed it from my ’69. I have the duct and the heater box, but nothing else.

The Y shape duct does not connect to the box. The duct connects to the firewall under the dash with 2 screws. The heater box then gets bolted to the firewall. There is a small gap between the duct and the box which can be filled with foam weatherstripping or there is a heater box seal kit available that seals that up.

Thanks. I figured there was some sort of mounting bracket. As my dad always said, that's what I get for thinking.
