Question Weird Heater Question

Ok, So for the whopping 2 or 3 days when it is cold down here in Florida, I get to use my heater. For some reason, Whenever it gets used, The occupants of my Maro get stuffy, Dry Noses. My girlfriend and I have come to agree that only my car does this. My dad's Hummer, F-150, and Corvette don't do it, Nor does my Bronco, or the Girlfriend's Truck

Granted I live in S. Florida I don't know too much about it being 'cold', but I like my nose to work.

Any ideas?

Sounds to me like somebody implanted the cold virus into your vents and youre flooding your car with it everytime you run the heat?

Seriously though, if you've never used your heat or haven't in a very very long time there could be dust in the vents and tubes and stuff and when you turn the heat on it shoots and irritates your nose?

I dunno, I'm no allergist

either that or something may have gotten in the heater core and made a nest. mice will get there if given the chance. any odd smell?

No odd Smells.
Dust Sounds Legit.
But after a week shouldn't that be cleared out?

open the hood and look up by the base of the windshield and around below the hood hinges for anything that could be molding. leaves or other stuff. the air intake is under the platic piece thats under the wipers. u can grab a flashlight and look in and see if theres any thing below the plastic that could be causing the problem. u can also take the fan out and look in there for anything that could be causing the dust or mold. it should be under the dash on the passenger side. fairly easy to take out. at least mine was. lol

Almost forgot about this thread. :X

I checked everything and no traces of mold or any debris?

But it's not cold here anymore so It's no biggie.
If I ever figure anything else out, I'll be sure to post.
