68 camaro with SB350 with 383 Alm. angle plug fast burn heads and saginaw 825 power steering box.
I am having difficulty finding a header that will clear the power steering box. the number 1 pipe coming across hits the power steering box in a big way. dinging or dimpling the header does not help. Hooker or Headman, summit or jegs, do not carry a header for this application.
Anyone have the same or similar application and know of a solution? I am trying to avoid an expensive "custom header" shop but am willing if it is my only option. also if you know of any shops for this in Northern Illinois, please let me know.
Thanks for your help guys!

Here's 103 selections from Summit.
I am assuming the stock location - I took mine off and clearanced the box, which helped keep my fingers from getting snagged on the sharp parts. I also polished the box, then painted it.

Get a BIGGER hammer! I don't see the problem from the pictures unless your have a broken motor mount. That Header looks like a prime candidate for a well placed dimple. I think I used an iron construction stake which worked just fine, hell you have more clearance on yours without a dimple than I do on mine with one.
Are those skuff marks on the Header from rubbing or trying to pry a dimple in there? You could always put on a set of Shortys or check with Thorley, I thought (could be wrong) they made a Header with better clearance. I just can't remember if it's Thorley...or the original founder of Thorley, Doug Thorley who actually has a different company and not associated with the company that still bares his name.

My youngest has been sick (nothing serious) the last couple of days so I'm averaging about 3.5 hours of sleep a night so my posts have been like driving with a broken center link.
I have that same dimple on my Dyno's, I think they put it there for motors with temp sensor on that side. ??????
