Had an issue with my generator light staying on after the ignition is turned off, I replaced the voltage regulator but now when I start the car my temp light comes on and goes out when it starts but the generator light does not come on upon starting like it did before replacing the voltage regulator, is this a problem that I should worry about ?

 

No, not as long as it stays off during engine running and battery posts measure anything above 13.5 volts.
