200 RPMs is a pretty decent difference at 65MPH. You push it to 70-75 (which a lot of us probably cruise at) and your talking a much bigger change.

I'm talking about stuff like I do. I've done some 3 day, 1000+ mile cruises behind the wheel of my big-block '69. You add a 3:73's to that equation with a pretty crazy exhaust and 26" tires and you're talking about listening to 3,000+ RPM just to try to stay up with traffic in the middle lane of the highway. Radio and/or conversation is useless. Don't even want to start talking about the gas mileage.
thanks its going in my 66 ss 396 impala not sure whats in my camaro i need to check that out also, is it a big deal to change out the gears i have never messed with that yet
