Hope this isn't too dumb of a question.

The brake pedal on my '68 is much closer to the driver than the gas pedal.
In fact, it is impossible to keep your heel planted on the floor when switching back and forward from gas to brake.

Is this normal? Is there a way of changing this...like raising the acc pedal height?

I don't think this is a brake pedal issue as ther is really no room for bringing the pedal farther forward without messing up the brake booster rod keeping the brake light swith in position.
