Hey Guys newbie here to restorations and such, I normally used to having the car already built, just paying a tuner, and such.. I looked around and think i found a combo for my fuel line setup, I love to hear different ideas and avg. out which ever one seems most appealing. So far what I got when the car was bought was a -6an fuel line running from tank to a mechanical pump, into the mechanical fuel pump, to the pressure regulator and into a dual feed fuel line for the carb with a gauge, installing a holley blue electric fuel pump 100 micron filter before pump and 40 micron after pump which i also received with purchase of car. I plan on running a return line 5/16ths rubber hose to save some cash atm. I guess my question is what would you guys revise on this fuel line setup, thanks for the feed back!
To me this looks odd because i thought the bottom of the regulator was the return line.


I purchased an ebay fuel cell from some guy locally, came with some extra -6an lines and fittings, cell has a sump and foam, ditched the stock fuel tank which had some rust inside.

 

Bottom of regulator is supply for regulator.
You can run the return from the other reg outlet - remove plug - and readjust press.
Get a different gauge, or remove it completely, and remote mount gauge as heat and vibration will damage the gauge.
Liquid filled gauges are the most susceptible to damage.

 

Makes sense once i got the idea of googling the diagram for the regulator i felt silly.
