Default front end bolts

All;

I need to know what the best solution is to putting new front end bolts on my car. The brake backing plate and the steering box is going on, it looks like two 7/16 flange bolts and a 1/2-20 1 inch are used on the backing plate and three 7/16-14 bolts for the steering box.

What lengths should they all be, hardness, and will black phosphate work? Finally, what's the best source?

This car won't be original, so I just want the best functioning and looking solution, not the closest to original.

Just use the shortest bolts that will fit

I wouldn't use black phosphate bolts for anything. those will snap off before bending and I want no bolts on my safety equipment that just snap
