Default Correct source for 454 oil pressure switch - see photo

Need some advice, am installing oil pressure switch to control an electric choke 12V line, my 69 Camaro has a 14015445 4-bolt main 454 block dated D158 and above the oil filter are two fitting sites, one is being used for the oil pressure line for console pressure gauge. Photo attached is upside down, the other brass fitting to the right of my oil line fitting, can I use that to screw in an oil pressure switch? Or do I need to "T" into the current oil line fitting? Thanks for any info

The two tapped holes above the oil filter housing are for an external oil cooler on hi-performance blocks. Not sure if it can be used as pressure sending unit.

Yes you can use either hole or you can also, usually install it near the distributor at the back of the block
