No one will be laughing cause we've all been there.....I just had to have them all convince me not to sell mine...lol.....goodluck with everything.

 

Found a 454 bored .030 over, fresh rebuild, mild cam, etc. for $1,200. Entire engine. I think this might be a decent starting point because I could either run it as is or piece it out and rebuild it with what I want. Just think $1,200 on a 454 is more beneficial than $1,200 fixing the 327. Is $1,200 a decent price for a rebuilt BBC? Just asking a couple of experts before I jump into a bad purchase.
