Thanks for the post everybody. Yea, I got a great deal on a solid Camaro. And yea, when I bought it my thoughts were it doesnt matter to me. Im gonna Keep it, drive it and enjoy it. 1Slow64 I used Epoxy Primer on the Firewall. Havent actually painted it yet. Thinking about Sandblasting it and doing it all over again anyway. Getting ready to cut the dash out and need to weld up some places on the firewall that I hadnt thought off when we did it the first time. Im still in a holding pattern right now.

Nice score Scooch!
The waiting really is the hardest part this just goes to show that patients really prevails and only cost 5g’s rather than 5 times that amount. Take your time on the repairs, budget accordingly and when you get frustrated remember in most cases the most exciting part of the ride is the journey it took to get there.

Well, after a really long drawn out time frame of trying to decide on whether to keep the Camaro or just get rid of it... not only have we decided to keep the Camaro but Im gonna finally get back to work on it.
I will be ordering a new Core Support this afternoon. gonna get the dash cut out and the new one welded it first. then I can shove the motor and trans back in it and put the front end back together. anyway, just wanted to share a little good news. I hope to be back with pics and updates soon.
Anyone in the NW Florida area that wants to lend elbow grease just let me know. any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks Arrow Man, I appreciate it.
I need suggestions on a Carburetor. I already bought a new Edelbrock performer series Intake so I assume that means Performer Series Carb? if so, what size? from looking at their website it looks like I need the 600cfm. they have 500 up to 800.

Bout time you gave that poor car the time of day again. For the carb, I'd go with a 650. Edelbrocks are more fiddle-proof, so that would probably be your better bet.
