Default EZ car lift

Been using this for 6 months now and love it. I didn't want to install a perminant lift and I've never been comfortable working under my car while it's being supported on jack stands. This lifts the car 26" which is plenty for rolling around on a creeper and no worries about the car falling on me.

Interesting.. I have been looking at the Bendpak MD-6X as an option. It raises the car bit higher, but will still work in my garage with the 9' ceiling. It is a bit different with more conventional lift arms that have to be positioned, etc. The key to me is the integrity of the locking mechanism. I am also uncomfortable working with jack stands only.

The good ole days we men were men and jack stands were a luxury we could not afford. You jacked up the car and placed it on as many bricks and 2x4's as you could find... You got it to balance and went to work... Of course back then you only had craftsman tools and I walked to school uphill all the way, both directions....
