Default Ls2 450 rwhp

Hey fellas I'm new to this forum and have a question for you guys. Im putting an LS2 into a 67 camaro and was wondering what it would to get an LS2 out of a 06 GTO into a 450 RWHP car/engine. I just watched this video and was not to impressed the the GTO that was racing. I sure as hell don't want a little Mustang GT to be wippin my 67. If anyone has any suggestion or a link to threads that talk about this could you let me know. Thanks guys!

1) As far as I'm concerned, rolling races is bull**** and should be left to the ricers. Real men race from a stand still.
2) In at least one of those "races", The Pustang jumped the 3rd horn (cheated).
3) The GTO outweighs your 67 by at least 650 lbs. (3,725 vs 3,070). An LS2 in a 67 would be no contest, even though the LS2 might weigh more than a typical old school small block.

Camaro 69 I couldn't agree with you more on all the above. I didn't know about the weight difference. However, I am looking for more then just a slight pull away. I certainly done want to even come close to being challenged by a mincey gt. Im interested in running with the Corvette, SVT group.

Also, Camaro 69 check out my post if you would, and give your incite on my situation. Here is the link. Thanks man!

A new 5.0 mustang is no slouch. I would think with bolt on parts, cam, heads you will be at your goal of 450hp easily.
