extra radio speakers

I own a 69 Camaro and want to put a better sound system in it. Has anyone put kick panel or door speakers in a 69? I hear there is not much room in either place. Thanks for any advice.

I put two small ones in the center of the dashboard along the window. There is a little vented space there for them. Not deep, rich sound but I do try to keep the stock look. I can send a pic later if you want one.
