Default Engine ID

I'm a new Camaro owner and am working on cleaning up a car that was restored many years ago. I'm also trying to document what I can as I go and learn all the info as well. I'm researching the engine at this point and have some numbers, I'm wondering if you guys can help me. I know it's a big block from the 3999289 number but can someone help me with the TO314trw04F430839 number. I'm still locating more stamped numbers so please be patient with me as I go. Thanks in advance.

T=Tonowanda engine plant. 03=March. 14=14th day of the week. TRW= either a 1974 or 1979 454 truck engine.
Look for the casting date on the bellhousing flange, that would help to confirm the casting year.

Second set of numbers: Not sure on the 0 (Chevy engines usually have a 1 in this position). 4=1974 (that settles the previous question).
F=vehicle assembly plant: Flint Michigan. And the rest of the numbers are the partial VIN from the truck it came out of.

So the engine is a 1974 454, 245 h.p., out of a Chevy Truck.

Camaro 69, wow, great info. I appreciate all that. At least I have a starting point now from which to build. Another question is what can I expect from this motor, performance wise and what would you change on it or check to see if I already have to get better performance out of it. Thanks in advance.
