Default Drum to disc no difference!!!

Hey guys!so I just installed cpp's front disc with wilwood calipers,I was all excited to jump in and test them out.i took the car for a drive and felt the same to meI came home and read up on breaking them in.i broke them in and still the same.i do have oil on one rear shoe because of leaky axle seal.(fixed)I just went and bought new shoes.i know it may help but shouldn't I feel a real difference already from drum to disc???

You should have far better heat-related fade resistance and wet braking performance. Maybe not on first application in the dry.

Drum brakes do a really decent job of stopping a car..... until they get hot. And they get hot fast on any type of autocross course or even a steep mountain road.

Trust me, disc brakes are a BIG step in the right direction.

What type of different feel were you expecting? Also did your kit come with an adj proportioning valve?

I am also wondering if it came with an adjustable proportioning valve? I can't comment on going from drums to discs in the front but when i went from drums to disc in the back i even noticed a firmer more responsive brake peddle. Did you get the right master cylinder? Perhaps they sent you a disc/disc one when you replaced it instead of a disc/drum and you lost some of the required force to your rear brakes?
