Default 1968 Drum to Disc conversion help

Hello everybody, first post here. My very good friend owns a 1968 Camaro (327, 4 speed) which currently has the stock manual drums on all 4 wheels. He really wants to convert the car to front wheel discs, but, because of a disability, he's asked me to do the job. He also wants to keep manual brakes and stock sized discs. I've done a little research and I've found quite a few conversion kits from places like Ricks Camaro, etc. I would really appreciate it if you guys could help me with a couple things:

1. Make sure I have all the correct info and everything lined up before I start this.
2. Guidance to any websites that actually show pictures of a conversion would be great help; or if any of you guys have documented one on here a link to that post would be great.
3. Suggestions of which kit to use.

If you're still reading this I feel like I can admit now that all of my experience with disc conversions is Ford related (sorry). But this car has been a great influence on my life and stoked my initial interest in classic cars, so I want to do a great job.

Here's what I need: Front disc conversion kit, which should include nearly everything I need except possibly a master cylinder and/or front hardlines, depending on the kit. I also know I'll need some sort of proportioning valve. I've seen some that are actually come with the master cylinders, already lined in. Is there anything else I'll need that I haven't mentioned? Also, his car has 15x7 cragars on the front, so I think that clearance won't be an issue.

Thanks for any help,
Martin

Thanks dynarider, I'll look into that. Anybody else know of somebody who's documented this online? I like to learn visually.
