Default Does this 327 engine belong in a '67?

My father bought a '67 327 Corvette in '76. The original engine had thin cylinder walls and could not be rebuilt so he found and rebuilt another one. (Didnt know a thing about "matching numbers" in '76). He always said that the engine came from a truck. Now I have the car and decoded the block on the GM parts site. I'm no expert but I think the engine is from a L30 code '67 Camero, here's the numbers on the block.

pad stamp: T0104MK (no VIN# stamp, not sure why)
block casting 3903352
date L-29-6 (Dec 29 1966)

Could an expert help me out here?

Thanks
Chris

I am no expert but my engine's pad does not have a partial vin# on it. Third motor including mine that I see the same no partial vin stamped on the forum. Mine is a '67 L30 (275 hp) as well but mine is MM (powerglide) as opposed to MK which I think came in a car with an M20 4 speed and 10 bolt posi rear.
Hope you can get the info here to sort it out.

BTW here is a link where you can find some info on the block, it won't tell you if it came out of a camaro but it does tell you just about anything else.
You can also look up head casting and specs
http://www.thedirtforum.com/castings.htm

Casting #3903352

Built during 64 - 67 used in these engines 350, 327 & 302
hp rating 210-350 2-Bolt mains
Used in both Truck/Pass car

Hope that helps some.

The 3903352 block is a 1967 327 only casting. It was used for the Passenger Car, Camaro, Chevelle, and Corvette lines.
But, the "MK" code means it was assembled as the 275 h.p. Camaro engine. It has 2 bolt mains, came with a 4 barrel carb, and was connected to either a 3 or 4 speed manual trans.
And sometimes the VIN wasn't stamped near the heads, but was put on a boss on the left side of the block near the oil filter.
Here's some reading info about the L30/327 Camaro option. http://www.camaro-untoldsecrets.com/.../spotlite2.htm

Thanks for the replies, I wont be using this engine for my Corvette restoration and it will be for sale. Hopefully it will have some value to someone here with a '67L30
