he's talking about the tabs the hold the peice on, underneath the column. it's such acommon thing, that I think most people don't even realize that they are supposed to be there

 

Yeah, thats what I was refering to, it's a small cover that goes over the bottom of the column. I was lucky enough to have enough left on my tabs to just move the nuts around a little bit to still make them fit. It's pretty hard to find an orginal bezel that doesnt have them broken.

 

Well thats all there. I talked to my neighbor who I got the motor parts from and he said use duplicolor and I can paint this. So we shall see.
