Lower air deflector thingy?

Default Lower air deflector thingy?

Does anyone know what that black plastic piece is called that is under the lower valance on the front end? My car(in pictures) doesn't seem to have it and I want it! Whats it called and where can I find it?

Get to see it tomorrrow!!!!

Front Spoiler. should be able to find one anywhere that sells camaro parts, ricks first gen, ebay, yearone.....

My buddy Steve probably has one. He doesn't sell repo parts, only original first gen camaro parts and he's very reasonable. Check out his info http://www.camaro-restorations.com

Technically it's called an Air Dam, but it is most commonly referred to as a Spoiler.

along with the spolier/air dam buy the steel brackets to install it or it will flap in the wind something fierce.

Yeah, but there is a model available that doesn't need the brackets for reinforcement... I think...

The last thing you want is that thingy flapp'in in the wind. Brackets for sure.

I go to his shop about once a week for parts and advise... hence the reason I posted. Why is that too good to be true?

because most people that sell original parts demand a premium price for their stuff...in case you haven't noticed, just look on ebay.
